A unique cat, Nanny McPhee, with two noses, has captured the hearts of cat lovers and has finally found her forever home.

Nanny McPhee, a four-year-old black and white cat, is capturing hearts with her distinctive two noses.
Currently residing at Warrington Adoption Centre, this “one-of-a-kind” cat is searching for a loving family after her previous owners had to part with her due to health and financial difficulties.
Staff initially thought Nanny McPhee simply had a large snout. It wasn’t until a vet’s examination that they realized she had two noses.
The rare feature quickly became a beloved trait among the staff. They affectionately named her after the movie character Nanny McPhee, known for her unique nose.
Nanny McPhee’s loving personality
Despite her unusual appearance with two noses, Nanny McPhee has a sweet disposition. “She adores a fuss and a cuddle,” said Centre Manager Lindsay Kerr.
‘We have all fallen in love with our one-of-a-kind Nanny McPhee. We can’t stop looking at her two noses!”
He added: “We hope her new-found fame will bring plenty of adopters willing to give her the home she deserves.”
According to Fiona Brockbank, Senior Field Veterinary Officer at Cats Protection, a double nose is an extraordinary trait, even among congenital malformations, which can sometimes affect cats in the nasal area. Fortunately, Nanny McPhee’s condition doesn’t impact her health. “This is a real rarity and isn’t causing her any issues,” Brockbank explained.
Now spayed and healthy, Nanny McPhee is fully prepared to join a loving family where she can finally settle down. “She really does deserve to be the center of a caring home,” Kerr shared.
This is not the first time a rare cat with congenital malformations has gained attention.

Initially, Midas the cat was almost abandoned because of its unusual ears, but it was later adopted by its owner, Canis Dosemeci. Now, Midas is four months old and has become a social media sensation.
Midas has adjusted well to life in Canis’ home and has even befriended two dogs that Canis has had for years—Suzy (12 years old) and Zeyno (14 years old).
Canis recently created a social media account for Midas, and the cat has quickly gained a lot of attention. Canis says that Midas is very well-behaved and lives just like any other cat. Midas also gets along well with the two dogs in the house.
A friend of Canis discovered a litter of newborn kittens in the garden, where a stray cat had given birth. This friend wanted to adopt the remaining kittens but was hesitant about Midas because of its unusual ears.
Therefore, Canis decided to adopt Midas. She took Midas to the vet for a check-up and was told that Midas’ health was perfectly normal, and the cat’s hearing ability is also completely fine.
