The dog adopted from the rescue station was unable to contain its grin.
Meaty’s journey to happiness hasn’t stopped smiling since being adopted
Meaty, formerly known as Meatball, found his forever home through the Fresno Bully Rescue Center in Central Valley, California.
This adorable dog stole hearts with his infectious smile and endearing personality. Initially thin and frail, Meaty transformed under the care of Lisa Reilly, who adopted him two years ago.
Ever since he was adopted, Meaty has been in love with his new owner. Especially when standing in front of the camera, the dog always looks radiant with his extremely cute smiley face.
After being adopted from an animal shelter in Central Valley (California), Meatball, or Meaty for short, cannot hide his immense happiness in front of the humans he loves.
Meaty was just one of hundreds of dogs in the shelter waiting to be adopted
Fortunately, on a beautiful day, a woman named Lisa Reilly suddenly saw a picture of Meaty online, uploaded by the Fresno Bully Rescue Center. Meaty reminds Lisa of her pet cat who died three months ago.
Lisa came to the centre and saw the pup curled up to sunbathe. Like many other poor dogs, Meaty is extremely thin and weak.
“The Fresno Bully Rescue Centre has been very good to Meaty since I first met him until I was able to take him home,” Lisa said.
What surprised Lisa the most is that every time she put the camera up to take his pictures, Meaty always looks radiant and smiles cutely.
Due to his funny face, Meaty quickly gained the love of tens of thousands of Internet users. The dog’s Instagram page has attracted more than 30,000 followers and is still growing day by day.
Previously, the dog at laugh animal rescue would wag its tail and grin broadly whenever someone came to adopt
Berreaux wagged his tail and grinned brightly, hopeful to be adopted
The dog’s name is Berreaux, a black Labrador. Berreaux was brought to the Northwest Louisiana Humane Society, along with two other dogs named Joe and O, when he was just 8 weeks old.
A volunteer named Sarah Walton found the three dogs.
At the time, all three were very weak and tested positive for Parvovirus, a dangerous gastrointestinal virus that usually affects only young puppies.
To save their lives, she immediately took them to the veterinary hospital. Fortunately, all three recovered well. Once fully healthy, Berreauxe, Joe, and O were brought back to the local animal shelter for care.
After Berreaux and his friends were brought here to be fostered, Sarah was delighted to discover that Berreaux had a habit of smiling brightly whenever someone walked past his crate.
Berreaux’s smile would brighten even more if someone praised him as a well-behaved and obedient dog, surely Berreaux loves being praised and “pampered”.
During his time at the Northwest Louisiana Humane Society, Berreaux always received special attention and affection from everyone, as he often wagged his tail and grinned brightly with hopeful eyes at passersby.
Perhaps Berreaux hopes that one day soon he will find his own new owner.
