A heartwarming tale emerged when a Golden Retriever named Kelsey rescued her owner from a near-fatal accident on New Year’s Eve.
Bob, the owner, slipped and broke his neck just 15 feet from his home while fetching firewood
Despite the freezing temperatures and Bob’s cries for help, it was Kelsey’s unwavering loyalty and vigilance that kept him alive through the night.
Bob recalled, “I was screaming for help, but my nearest neighbor was a quarter mile away and it was late at night. However, Kelsey heard me and never stopped barking.”
Paralyzed and enduring temperatures as low as 24 degrees Fahrenheit, Bob credits Kelsey with keeping him warm and alert for over 20 hours in the snow.
Dog‘s loyalty saved Bob’s life from freezing to death
“She kept barking and stayed by my side,” Bob recounted gratefully. “Even when I lost consciousness after 19 hours, Kelsey continued to howl until a neighbor heard and rescued me the following evening.”
After being found, Bob was rushed to the hospital and underwent surgery. Now on the road to recovery, he affectionately calls Kelsey his hero. “She saved my life,” Bob emphasized, expressing eternal gratitude to his loyal companion.
If Kelsey’s loyalty saved her owner from freezing to death, similarly, Tommy used his cunning to rescue his owner in a dangerous situation
Tommy saves his disabled owner in an emergency
On a Thursday in 2006, the police 911 line received an urgent call from Gary Rosheisen’s apartment. But there was no sound on the other end of the line.
The police called back but no one picked up the phone. So Officer Patrick Daugherty was sent to check on the situation.
When Officer Daugherty arrived, he found Gary’s cat (Tommy) sitting beside the phone on the living room floor.
Looking around, the officer discovered that the owner of the house – Gary Rosheisen had fallen out of his wheelchair and was unable to get up.
Gary was not wearing a medical-alert collar, and he also fell too far from the phone to call for help. Luckily, Gary trained his cat Tommy to call 911 in an emergency.
The intelligence of the cat Tommy saved Gary’s life.
If you think pigs are lazy animals that only eat and sleep, or if you believe only dogs or cats can be trained to save their owners, you may be mistaken! Look at how Lulu the pig saved her owner from a heart attack—it will leave you amazed beyond words!
The pig saves the owner having a heart attack
Mrs. Jo Ann Altsman unfortunately suffered a heart attack and fell to the floor while her husband was away. Her life could have been in danger without the sudden help from Lulu the pig.
Lulu “stuffed” her 150-pound body through the dog door. Her stomach even hurt from trying to force herself through the small door.
After that, Lulu somehow opened the fence gate, ran out, and lay down in the middle of the road. Finally, a good Samaritan stopped to check on her. At that moment, Lulu quickly led him to Mrs. Altsman’s place to call for help.
The doctors who operated on Altsman’s heart later told her that she would have lost her life if she had been 15 minutes late to the hospital.
