In the heartbreaking story, Lucy Ledgeway was devastated by the loss of her 14-year-old Jack Russell terrier, Sunny. 

Sunny passed away following a seizure, leaving Lucy and her family heartbroken.

They drove past a place where Lucy used to take Sunny for walks, hoping to feel a connection to her late pet.

During their drive, Lucy found herself yearning for a sign that Sunny was at peace.

On Twitter, Lucy (@LLedgeway) shared The experience was deeply comforting for Lucy.

The post read: “My dog passed away in my dads arms this morning seconds before setting off to the vets. later in the day we went out to clear our head and i cried to my boyfriend in the seat she died in, just begging for a sign that she’s okay. this is what I was blessed with.”

Lucy recalled in an interview with the Daily Mail, saying:  “I was thinking to myself that I wanted to see Sunny in the sky as a sign that she was OK.”

As she looked up at the clouds, she was overwhelmed with emotion when she saw what appeared to be Sunny’s face. 

“I was crying my eyes out and I looked up in the sky and saw Sunny,” she said.

 For her, this vision was more than just a coincidence; it was a sign that her beloved pet was in a better place.

Moved by the sight, Lucy captured a photo of the cloud formation and shared it on Twitter. 

The image quickly went viral and sparked discussion among dog lovers.
