Thanat Tangtewanon was simply visiting the toilet when he encountered a terrifying ordeal. He was bitten on the testicles by a 12-foot python.
A man encountered a shocking incident with a python in the bathroom.
On August 20, Thanat took to social media to recount his harrowing experience.
He shared graphic images and videos of himself grappling with the massive snake.
While, his is bathroom was marked by drops of blood.
Thanat explained that he had gotten up around 10:00 AM and, as usual. Then he flushed the toilet to clear it of any potential surprises.
While, Thanat assumed the bathroom was safe when he sat down.
Thanat was bitten by a python while sitting in the bathroom.
Moments later, he felt a sharp pain and realized he was being bitten.
However, he was already in the midst of the attack.
He said: “Thankfully, I’m okay now, and in case you’re wondering, my testicles are fine.
“It turned out to be a non-venomous python. I had my blood tested yesterday, and everything looked good, but I need another test today to be sure.
“I’ve got some wounds from the snake bite and from yanking it off, but nothing too serious.”
In his panic, he armed himself with a toilet brush and fought the snake.
Thanat managed to dislodge it after a fierce struggle.
Despite striking his own hand during the fight, Thanat’s primary focus remained on freeing himself from the python’s grip.
Thanat was injured when the python bit him in the testicles.
Once the snake went limp, Thanat called for help to remove the dead python.
Then, the neighbor quickly took him to the hospital.
He reported that, fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening.
“Thankfully, I’m okay now, and in case you’re wondering, my testicles are fine,” he said.
The python turned out to be non-venomous, but Thanat had some wounds from the bite and from pulling the snake off.
After the incidnet, local wildlife authorities later removed the python from the toilet.
It is likely that the snake entered the house through the plumbing.
In a similar incident from 2016, another Thai man, Attapon Boonmakchuay, experienced a python latching onto his penis while using the toilet.
Fortunately, he survived after his wife managed to pry the snake’s mouth open and he received medical treatment.
