On a recent morning, Brian Jones, a resident of South Carolina, had an unexpected surprise. He had just poured his coffee and was getting ready to head out the door for work when his wife suddenly said, “LOOK!”
To his shock, a tall, dark figure stood just outside their window. The figure appeared as casual as could be—a bear, standing upright on two legs, nibbling from the bird feeder. Jones was struck by the bear’s oddly human-like stance.
“It’s pretty common in our area to have bear sightings,” Jones explained. “But this one was unique because he was standing like a person.”

In the footage, the black bear was caught raiding a bird feeder intended for birds. The bear displayed remarkable caution but handled the bird feeder with surprising care.
After eating its fill, the bear eventually returned to all fours and wandered back into the surrounding forest.
